1st place prize, February 2021, Special category "Reflections". Tried for 3 days to get good reflections from puddles. This is particularly difficult with the Hydrogen One 3D phone due to the very short baseline. Even still there is only good stereo in the water ripples. The strength of this image is in the lovely golden hour lighting, fun subjects, and reflection symmetry. This was my last puddle attempt literally during the last minute of direct sunlight.

3rd place prize, February 2021, Special category "Reflections". I have a bunch of 4 inch square mirrors. For this image I taped them into a cube with the mirror sides facing inward. I left a narrow slit open in two opposite edges and took some shots through it while looking into the box through the other.

Honorable Mention, March 2021. My first in a series of 3D portraits. This woman was out with her camera and a tripod, and kind enough to let me photograph her though she wondered why I would be interested in her. I'm already expecting that this is going to be about more than just photography.

FallingCherryPetals
1st place prize, April 2021. A windy day was blowing petals off this cherry tree. I asked a stranger to give the tree a good shake so I could get a heavier petal snowing. He did it a bit too well, including some falling buds and other tree parts that I need to clone out.

2nd place prize, April 2021. Starting to get summer sunsets behind the bridge. For my last shot of the day I thought I'd try to get some nice sunset reflections on the wet sand, but I soon realized that the foam looks even better, so I risked soaking my shoes to get in close to the foam. I had just enough time to snap and jump back and managed to say dry. This was my very last shot of the day and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

2nd place prize, May 2021. This shot through a long snake of shopping carts was very nearly all black & white, so I made it completely so. This also changed the image a lot though I can't rightly say how.

2nd place prize, June 2021, special category: Macro. Oleg is the most prolific stereographer in our club. This portrait is from some close-up snaps I took while we were on a hike in Novato close to sunset. It was shot as a cha-cha because I wanted to get closer than my Hydrogen One's already narrow baseline. The result is earily intimate.

HappyKiteSurfer
Honorable Mention, July 2021. This kite surfer was finishing a great session at Chrissy Field, as you can see the satisfied look on his face. He manages his kite by letting it fly itself while hooking an arm over it to keep it from blowing downwind. You can see the wind direction by his hair. I was very happy with the composition which I didn't need to crop at all.

Honorable Mention, July 2021. I had arranged flights for our club members in my friend Christian's plane. I mistakenly believed that my Hydrogen One camera didn't have a burst mode, and the fastest I could take images was one second. That's too slow for these subjects, so this was about the best I could do.

2nd place prize, August 2021. Saw this fellow stretching in the Presidio and asked if I could take the shot. He happily agreed. This natural shot required almost no work at all. So bright and clean it reminds me of stock photos. One comment was that the shoe art looks like a 3D anaglyph image.

4th place prize, September 2021. Jack is one of our long-time club members. I was visiting him to get some apples from his tree but had also scoped out some interesting vantage points near him for some wide base stereo landscapes. These are my first submissions with my first DSLR camera gifted by a good friend and I wanted to test out the long lens. I didn't use any of the long base images I took, but this shot caught my eye right at sunset. Jack didn't move much between shots so I was able to fix that in Photoshop.

Honorable Mention, September 2021. I'd staked out this location through Google Earth. Even without the climb it was challenging to even find a way to approach it without getting kicked out. Stereo separation was about 6 feet which was surprisingly enough to see depth between the farthest ridges.

1st place prize, September 2021, special category: Motion. Dogs playing in the estuary runoff at low tide at Chrissy Field. Shot with my H1. The club remarked at the sharpness of the droplets, probably due to keeping the camera steady. I was lucky with a lot of elements of this shot.
