Melinda Green suggested I ask this group for help developing (and then solving ...) a Rubik like puzzle I've imagined that scrambles the 60 triangular faces of the small stellated dodecahedron.

For a description and the current state of play, see

I have a possible idea for a possible mechanism for the puzzle. It uses a=20
spherical core with tracks.
